Soxton AI, an AI-powered legal technology company focused on early-stage founders, announced it has acquired Cipher, a real-time security platform designed for agentic applications. The deal strengthens Soxton’s full-stack AI legal infrastructure by adding advanced protection for autonomous workflows and sensitive startup data.
The acquisition also brings Cipher’s team into Soxton, enabling deeper development of multi-agent systems and strengthening the company’s ability to power legal workflows through AI. By integrating Cipher’s security layer, Soxton aims to improve the safety, reliability, and scalability of its AI native legal platform.
Notably, Soxton executed the entire acquisition using its own platform. The company managed all aspects of the transaction internally, including negotiating terms, drafting agreements, and completing the closing. This approach replaced traditional legal workflows, resulting in approximately $80,000 in savings on legal fees.
The transaction highlights Soxton’s broader mission to modernize legal operations for startups by reducing cost and complexity while accelerating execution timelines. The company positions its platform as a full stack solution covering incorporation, equity management, fundraising, compliance, and now integrated agentic security.
The acquisition follows Soxton’s recent emergence from stealth with $2.5 million in pre seed funding, as the company continues to build out its AI driven legal infrastructure for founders.

“Acquiring Cipher was not only a strategic move, but a necessary one. Our platform holds valuable information from innovative, but vulnerable, early companies all around the globe, and they deserve to be well protected. What makes this acquisition even better, is that all legal processes were done on our own platform, standing as a true testament to the work we are doing to improve business functions for founders.”
