
OKLAHOMA CITY (KSWO) – On Friday, the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education allocated Fiscal Year 2026 state appropriations.
Highlighted as a targeted allocation of funds for Cameron University are a STEM education facility and a cybersecurity plan.
The State Regents cited the importance of investing in high-demand programs within STEM and healthcare, along with other allocations toward the University of Oklahoma and the University of Central Oklahoma.
Local State Regent Dustin Hilliary highlights this push, saying:
The State Regents highlighted a 2.34% budget increase.
