At approximately 22h24, Marshall Security received a report from a client on Celtic Road that a suspect had been seen on the property. The individual was believed to be linked to a theft incident that had occurred three days prior.
Marshall Security Armed Response Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene.
Upon arrival, officers spotted the suspect and immediately apprehended him near the client’s driveway gate.
The complainant arrived on scene shortly thereafter and wished to open a case. It was confirmed that the individual was the same suspect involved in the earlier theft of copper pipes.
Members of Greenwood Park SAPS attended the scene, and the suspect was taken into custody for further investigation and processing.
