Tanium named in Everest Group Cybersecurity Top 50 | #hacking | #cybersecurity | #infosec | #comptia | #pentest | #ransomware

Tanium has been named to Everest Group’s inaugural Cybersecurity Top 50, which ranks what the research firm describes as the largest and most influential cybersecurity technology providers globally.

The endpoint management and security software company appears in the new ranking based on measures including cybersecurity revenue, growth rate, valuation and business focus. Everest Group said the list is intended to help stakeholders identify cybersecurity companies that have reached significant scale and market momentum.

The recognition comes as cybersecurity suppliers face closer scrutiny from customers seeking broader platforms that can support both IT operations and security across growing device estates. Tanium has built its business around endpoint management and security, with a platform centred on AI and real-time endpoint data.

Everest Group tied Tanium’s placement to its market position and recent expansion.

“Tanium has earned a spot among the biggest and most relevant cybersecurity technology providers in the Everest Group Cybersecurity Top 50 2025. Its positioning reflects a combination of strong market success for the Tanium Autonomous IT Platform, alongside sustained growth,” said Praharsh Srivastava, Practise Director at Everest Group.

“Tanium’s AI-driven platform leveraging real-time endpoint intelligence, along with its focus on innovation and resilience, positions it well for continued momentum in 2026,” Srivastava said.

Market Criteria

Everest Group said the ranking uses objective parameters, including cybersecurity revenue, growth rate, valuation and business focus. Those measures reflect a market that continues to reward companies with a clear position in security software as businesses expand cloud use, introduce AI into operations and connect more systems across their estates.

That shift has widened the attack surface for many organisations and increased spending on tools that give security and IT teams a clearer view of endpoints. Tanium says its platform combines endpoint management and security in a single system, with the aim of giving customers one operational view.

The latest recognition adds to a run of analyst endorsements cited by Tanium. It said the platform has also been recognised by Gartner and IDC in endpoint management assessments, suggesting third-party researchers continue to track its position in device management and security operations.

Customer Focus

Tanium described the Everest Group ranking as recognition of both its scale and how customers use its software in complex technology environments.

“Being included in the inaugural Everest Group Cybersecurity Top 50 is meaningful because it recognizes not only our market scale, but the impact of our innovation on customers navigating increasingly complex digital environments,” said Pedro Diaz, Chief Revenue Officer at Tanium.

“Enterprises need a platform that can deliver unified IT and security operations, trusted automation and real-time intelligence and the Tanium Autonomous IT Platform was built to meet that demand. We are helping organizations strengthen resilience, accelerate transformation and stay ahead of a threat landscape that evolves by the day,” Diaz said.

The company’s emphasis on unifying IT management and security reflects a broader trend in cybersecurity, as suppliers try to reduce the number of separate tools used by corporate technology teams. Vendors increasingly argue that fragmented software estates can slow incident response and make it harder to maintain oversight of endpoints across offices, remote workforces and cloud environments.

For Tanium, endpoint visibility remains central to its pitch to large organisations. The company says its software gives IT and security teams real-time intelligence on devices, an area that has grown in importance as companies work to track vulnerabilities, enforce policy and respond to threats without relying on multiple disconnected products.

Everest Group’s new Top 50 list offers another indicator of which cybersecurity suppliers have built enough scale to stand out in a crowded market.
