Temple community advocate dedicates herself to strengthening child safety through car seat education | #childsafety | #kids | #chldern | #parents | #schoolsafey

Temple, Texas (KWTX)- Our next Be Remarkable takes us to Temple where we had the pleasure of meeting Amanda Coufal-Campbell.

Amanda works at McLane Children’s Hospital as a project coordinator for the hospital’s car seat initiative.

She brings exceptional attention to every car seat installation, education session, and family interaction – always prioritizing safety.

“It makes a big difference. A lot of parents don’t understand exactly what can happen. Seeing what we see come through the doors, it makes a big difference with our community and having so many pediatric patients. It’s just something that I quickly became passionate about.” Coufal-Campbell said.

Something that she stresses is education to create a safer environment for those traveling in a car in Central Texas.

“It’s no different than you leaving here and putting on a seatbelt. That pediatric patient, that child, whether it’s your child, somebody else’s child, deserve that same opportunity to be safe each and every time,” Coufal-Campbell said.

She was nominated by her coworker Krista Easley, who was impressed by her commitment and passion. It is one of the reasons she was selected by Daniel Stark Injury Lawyers for being remarkable and sharing one of the law firm’s core values.

And she was awarded a $500 check on behalf of Daniel Stark.

If you know someone like Amanda making a big impact on their community make sure to nominate them at kwtx.com/beremarkable.
