THOMASVILLE, Ga. — Thomasville police are recognizing local firefighters, EMTs and other emergency response partners for visiting schools as part of scheduled safety tours and preparedness training.
The Thomasville Police Department said the visits help ensure first responders are familiar with school campuses, understand how to navigate them and can work smoothly with school administrators and school resource officers if an emergency happens.
“We prepare together. We respond together. We protect our community together,” the department said.
