NATCHITOCHES PARISH, La. (KALB) – On Friday, July 24, Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office reported the arrest of three people following an investigation into a wanted Tier 1 registered sex offender:
- Ladarrious Blake, 27, of Natchitoches
- Devonia Evans-Payton, 60, of Natchitoches
- Tori Triggs, 29, of Natchitoches
Evans-Payton and Triggs were accused of helping Blake, who was wanted for failure to register as a sex offender, avoid law enforcement.
Blake was convicted of video voyeurism involving a victim under the age of 15 in 2022 and was legally required to register as a sex offender.
NPSO had search warrants for Blake at two separate locations in Natchitoches:
- In the 200 block of Independence Drive
- In the 300 block of East 6th Street
While executing these warrants, NPSO learned that Blake was at a third, undisclosed location on Kyser Avenue.
Detectives reportedly uncovered evidence that Blake had been living at an apartment without reporting the address to the NPSO Sex Offender Coordinator. They also found evidence that both Evans-Payton and Triggs had been assisting Blake either by harboring him or by lying to investigators. NPSO then arrested both women on the following charges:
- Devonia Evans-Payton: Duty of offenders to notify law enforcement of an address change
- She was reportedly a relative of Blake and signed an affidavit that he would live at her address
- Tori Triggs: One count of harboring or concealing a child sex offender or child predator
Both were taken to the Natchitoches Parish Detention Center and have since been released on bond.
Blake remains in the detention center.
This investigation is ongoing.
