Togo has signed a €24 million financing agreement, equivalent to nearly $27 million, with Poland to support drone technologies and cybersecurity development. The initiative includes the creation of a Security Technology Centre in Lomé and the strengthening of local drone design and assembly capabilities through Africa Drone Company operated by Cyber Defense Africa. The financing is backed by Polish state bank BGK under the European Union’s Global Gateway initiative.
