EC-Council has released the CEH Hall of Fame 2025 Industry Report, highlighting the world’s top 100 ethical hackers and the growing strategic role of certified professionals in tackling modern cybersecurity threats.
The report evaluates how the Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) programme is reshaping careers and strengthening global cyber resilience. According to EC-Council, 100 professionals from 93 countries were inducted after meeting rigorous criteria, including scoring 90% or above on the CEH exam and demonstrating leadership, innovation, and measurable career growth.
Jay Bavisi, Group President of EC-Council, said: “These inductees have elevated ethical hacking to a strategic discipline, where their expertise not only protects critical systems but actively drives organisational growth, resilience, and trust.”
Among the report’s key findings:
- 100% of respondents reported increased workplace respect and recognition post-certification
- 99% said CEH had positively impacted their careers
- 97% believed the certification effectively addressed emerging threat trends
- 91% felt it gave them a competitive edge over other cybersecurity credentials
The report also underscores the importance of practical learning, with 99% affirming the value of CEH’s virtual labs in building real-world hacking skills.
Looking ahead, EC-Council has introduced a new CEH programme powered with AI capabilities. Structured under a “Learn, Certify, Engage, and Compete” framework, the next-gen version includes immersive simulations and career pathways mapped to over 45 cybersecurity job roles.
The CEH Hall of Fame initiative continues to position ethical hacking as a critical driver of security innovation, reinforcing the role of certified professionals in ensuring organisations are prepared to navigate an increasingly complex digital threat landscape.
