Travis Kelce’s Mom Donna Kelce Reveals Unforutnate Hacking Incident | #hacking | #cybersecurity | #infosec | #comptia | #pentest | #hacker

Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce was the talk of the town after he announced his decision to return for another season. There was a lot of speculation about the 36-year-old retiring after his 13th season with the Chiefs, but Kelce has opted to push that back for at least another year.

His mother, Donna Kelce, stole the spotlight from her son, though. As news broke out on the four-time All-Pro tight end’s decision to shun retirement again, Donna Kelce grabbed headlines with her home renovation in Florida. Fans online had a lot of fun with how TMZ broke the news about Kelce’s home remodeling, as if it were a massive development of utmost significance.

There was nothing funny about Kelce’s personal update Sunday, though. The 73-year-old has emerged as the most well-known NFL mom today, and her fame has come with some drawbacks. The Kelce family matriarch learned about this the hard way.

Kelce took to social media to announce an unfortunate development. Apparently, she has fallen victim to malicious entities online.

“I just got hacked. I don’t know how but it happens. Please do not open up a special invitation for me. It’s not me and if you did change the password on your email,” read Kelce’s Facebook post on Sunday.

Kelce did not provide any further details on her hacking incident. However, based on her post, it appears that the hackers may have reached out to some of her contacts in her guise.

Fans quickly rallied behind Kelce after her unwanted announcement.

“Happens to everyone Donna,” a comment on Facebook read.

“Add 2 factor authorisation when you log in. So you get a code to your mobile number you need to input to log in each time. Also go to your settings and you can log out of all devices,” advised another.

“Thank you Donna. Sorry that happened to you!” a reaction read.

“I can’t imagine going through this and a renovation at once. Stay safe queen,” a supporter wrote.

“Momma Kelce keeping us safe! You’re a gem!” another said.

Kelce appears to have regained control of her account. It is unclear if any damage was done, though. Either way, she’s reminding everyone to remain extra vigilant online.
