Trend AI, the enterprise cybersecurity business unit of global security company Trend Micro, said on Wednesday it has signed a strategic partnership with Anthropic.
Through the collaboration, Trend AI will embed the Claude model across its platform to strengthen agentic workflows, automation and AI-native security operations. It will pursue threat research to identify vulnerabilities in AI systems and infrastructure. Trend AI plans to use the Claude model to advance its vulnerability detection capabilities while rolling out systematic response activities to reduce real-world risk.
Rachel Jin (레이첼 진), chief platform business officer at Trend AI, said, “Trend Micro launched Trend AI to define the AI security category. Now, together with leading partners such as Anthropic, we are at a stage of expanding that vision on a global scale. Broad strategic collaboration spanning research, defense and innovation will define the direction of AI security going forward.”
