COMPANY NEWS: Anglicare Victoria championed for contributions to industry and community cybersecurity uplift
TrendAI™, the global AI security leader and enterprise business unit of Trend Micro Incorporated (TYO: 4704; TSE: 4704), today announced the recipients of the 2026 TrendAI™ Cybersecurity Excellence Awards. Among the winners is Australian social services provider Anglicare Victoria, recognised for its achievements in the Ambassador category.
The awards celebrate organisations worldwide for their leadership, innovation, and excellence in cybersecurity as AI restructures the attack surface. Anglicare Victoria, a leading provider of out-of-home care services for vulnerable people in Victoria, was recognised for its contributions in championing stronger cybersecurity practices across its community and the wider industry.
This arrives shortly after the release of the Australian Cyber Security Centre’s Annual Cyber Threat Report 2025-26, which found the Healthcare and Social Assistance sector accounted for the most reported cybersecurity incidents in the non-government sector.
Dean Mills, Director – Information Technology Services at Anglicare Victoria: “This award recognises the commitment our teams have made to strengthening cyber resilience and staying ahead of an evolving threat landscape whilst driving our innovative agenda. Anglicare Victoria are proud to partner with TrendAI to protect our organisation, our people and the communities we serve through an intensive, focused collaborative partnership that focuses on ‘what’s next’ with the unpredictability of the cyber landscape.”Advertisement
