Tusker has acquired Fortress SRM, a Cleveland-based cybersecurity services company, expanding its security capabilities and establishing its sixth regional hub. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The acquisition adds approximately 50 cybersecurity professionals to Tusker and gives the company capabilities spanning security consulting, virtual CISO services, managed security, incident response, digital forensics and a 24/7 Security Operations Center.

Fortress SRM serves clients across Ohio, northern Michigan and Wisconsin.

The transaction is Tusker’s fifth acquisition since 2017 and its first since consolidating its portfolio companies under the Tusker brand earlier in 2026.

Tusker now has more than 400 employees, with regional hubs in Chicago, Boston, Green Bay, Duluth, Eau Claire and Cleveland. The company said additional acquisitions are planned as it continues expanding geographically and building its services business.
