ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Police arrested two more people in a sting targeting alleged child predators, bringing the total number of men arrested to 12.
A multi-agency operation already led to the arrest of 10 men as of Wednesday night.
Three more suspects appeared in court Thursday. Prosecutors said Christopher Purtee, Anthony Larsen and Anthony Wanjon believed they were messaging teens to meet for sex.
Court documents report undercover officers actually sent those messages.
Prosecutors asked a judge to keep Purtee, Larsen and Wanjon in jail until a district court judge rules on that request.
