In an interesting development that quickly became newsworthy on social media, a group of online streamers spent some time in the Treasure Valley area this past weekend.
The group, ‘Pred Poachers’, creates content that is similar to that of a ‘vigilante version’ of the television show, To Catch a Predator.
The guys jump online and set up individuals that they believe to be threats to children in local communities. While working in various chatrooms or on various social media platforms, the ‘Pred Poachers’ engage with individuals that they believe to be seeking to meet up with underage boys or girls. They then arrange for a meeting place, show up, and question the individual.
Surprise! These guys aren’t the underaged little boy or little girl that the alleged suspect thinks they are.
Their videos have millions of views across their multiple social media platforms.
This past weekend, word began to spread in the Treasure Valley as the ‘Pred Poachers’ made it known they were in the Area.

Local authorities were open with the public about being aware of the streamers ‘Pred Poachers’ in the area.
The Boise County Sheriff’s Office, in particular, not only shared with the public that they were aware–but they updated the public on an arrest that was made because of them.
On June 13th, 2026, at approximately 1:03 am the Boise County Sheriff’s Office received a report of a possible child enticement from a civilian “Pred Poacher” group. Immediately following the report, a investigation was started by seeking search warrants, the forensic downloading of cellular phones and completing in-person interviews. At approximately 2:30 pm, Dakota Green, age 34, of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested for felony Enticing Children Through the Internet, Video Image or Other Communication Device. Green was later booked into jail the same evening.
This investigation is ongoing with more potential of charges.
Local law enforcement AND those of us publishing these updates want to remind everyone that every person arrested IS innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
