LAUDERDALE COUNTY, Ala. (WAFF) – West Lawrence Water Co-Op is warning customers to stay vigilant following cyber and physical security breaches.
The utility’s interim general manager said more than 30 company devices have been handed over to investigators for analysis.
Water service has not been interrupted, and officials said there is no threat to the safety or quality of drinking water.
Security has been tightened, and customers are asked to report any suspicious activity near local water facilities.
