Court records show that Alishon Torres, 18, is facing several charges, including first-degree murder.
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The woman charged with killing a man who was accused of molesting a child is facing a nearly $1 million bond, according to jail records.
Alishon Torres, 18, was arrested on March 5, 2026, and has been charged with first-degree murder, employing a firearm during the commission of a felony, and tampering with evidence.
Shelby County jail records show that Torres’ bond has been set at $999,998.
According to court documents, at around 2 a.m. on February 26, a Memphis Police officer found a man’s body near Willowview Avenue. An early medical examination reportedly determined that the man had been shot 14 times, including once in the head.
Court records state the man’s family members identified him as Noe Santillan Rincon.
Rincon’s cousin reportedly told officers that he had been staying with a member of Torres’ family. Court documents state that the family member told investigators that Torres had called and texted her from Rincon’s phone.
Officers took Torres into custody. According to court documents, Torres told investigators that nearly a month before the shooting, a 5-year-old girl told her that Rincon had touched her inappropriately.
Torres reportedly claimed that she ran into Rincon while walking on Willowview Avenue and confronted him about the allegation. Court documents state that Torres admitted to shooting Rincon at least 10 times and taking a picture of the blood left inside his van.
According to court documents, Torres told investigators that she took the van to an abandoned house, repainted it, and later left it at an apartment complex.
Officers reportedly found a handgun in Torres’ purse on the day she was arrested. Court documents state that Torres told investigators that it was one of two guns she had used to shoot Rincon. Torres reportedly claimed that she got rid of the other gun.
Court documents state that investigators found Rincon’s van at an apartment complex on Homer Street a day after the shooting.
