ZeroEyes is expanding beyond its core AI gun-detection roots, rolling out new analytics capabilities and product lines to deliver a more unified physical security platform for enterprises, public sector organizations, and channel partners.
ZeroEyes broadens platform beyond gun detection
The Philadelphia-based company announced it is adding knife detection, suspect tracking, and a broader analytics suite as part of a limited release, signaling a shift toward full-spectrum threat detection and response.
The move builds on ZeroEyes’ existing computer vision technology, which is already deployed across thousands of buildings nationwide.
“ZeroEyes continues to push the boundaries of what AI-powered security can deliver,” said Mike Lahiff, CEO and co-founder of ZeroEyes.
“We felt that the time was right to leverage the unmatched experience and success that we’ve built in AI gun detection to give our customers a comprehensive security solution that they can trust from preparation to detection to response,” Lahiff’s statement continued.
For MSPs and integrators, the shift opens opportunities to position ZeroEyes as a layered security offering rather than a single-use tool, particularly in verticals like education, healthcare, and critical infrastructure.
New product structure targets end-to-end security workflows
ZeroEyes is organizing its expanded platform into three core product categories:
- Secure: Site surveys, mapping, and infrastructure tools such as its ZeroLink solution
- Detect: AI-powered identification of threats, including guns, knives, intruders, crowds, and abandoned objects
- Respond: Capabilities such as suspect tracking, drone-based AI, and its operations center, with additional investigative analytics planned
This structure aligns closely with how many MSPs package managed security services by bundling assessment, monitoring, and incident response into recurring offerings.
New analytics expand use cases for partners
Among the most notable additions is knife detection, designed to identify blades of six inches or longer, addressing the rising demand for broader weapon detection beyond firearms.
The suspect-tracking capability enables security teams to track individuals across multiple camera feeds using non-biometric visual markers, helping establish movement timelines and accelerate response coordination.
A general analytics suite adds detection for intrusions involving people, vehicles, drones, and boats, as well as crowd formation, abandoned objects, and camera obstructions.
Real-time camera health monitoring is also included, enabling proactive system management—an area where MSPs can deliver ongoing value.
Channel implications: from point solution to platform play
Founded in 2018, ZeroEyes built its reputation on AI-powered gun detection, including earning the DHS SAFETY Act designation. With this expansion, the company is positioning itself as a broader security platform vendor.
For channel partners, that transition could translate into larger deal sizes, deeper integrations with existing video surveillance infrastructure, and expanded managed service opportunities around monitoring, compliance, and incident response.
ZeroEyes touted the strength of its channel sales motion in January when it announced it had doubled its ecosystem throughout 2025. The company works with a variety of security-focused partners and integrators.
As physical security and AI-driven analytics continue to converge, vendors like ZeroEyes are increasingly aligning their platforms with the operational models MSPs already use, potentially accelerating adoption across both public and private-sector environments.
