AI security company Aim Intelligence and infrastructure solution company MangoBoost will develop security technologies to respond to harmful AI traffic at the hardware stage.

Aim Intelligence and MangoBoost announced on the 29th that they have signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) to build an integrated AI security infrastructure that combines AI guardrails and data processing unit (DPU) technology.

The two companies will develop a security technology that applies Aim Intelligence’s software-based guardrail service to MangoBoost’s hardware DPU.

As the recent introduction of AI agents has accelerated and the demand for real-time AI security processing has increased, it is intended to be able to handle security processing not only at the software level but also at the hardware level. Through this, the goal is to allow the central processing unit (CPU) and graphic processing unit (GPU), which are AI computational resources, to focus only on computation.

Am Intelligence is OpenAI’s only partner in the Asia-Pacific region in the guardrail sector, providing AI security technology through AI red team solution ‘Stinger’ and security solution ‘Starport’. In cooperation with MangoBoost, which develops high-performance DPU and software optimization solutions, the two companies will first jointly develop products that bundle AI guardrails and servers.

In the long run, MangoBoost DPU plans to build a hardware-based AI security framework that blocks harmful traffic at the network end in real time by installing Am Intelligence’s guardrail.

Yoo Sang-yoon, CEO of Aim Intelligence, said, “We will cooperate with MangoBoost to create a new paradigm called hardware-native guardrail that operates on top of DPU.”
