• Attorneys
• Mental Health Professionals
• Caregivers

On Thursday, October 1, we are inviting senior citizens to attend to receive one-on-one training on:

• New Scams To Avoid
• Financial Exploitation
• Signs of Physical & Emotional Abuse

“Crimes against seniors devastate victims, families, and entire communities,” said Gen. Johnson. “Protecting our older citizens requires more than prosecuting offenders – it also requires giving seniors the knowledge and tools to recognize danger and protect themselves. This conference brings our community together to do both. It strengthens our response to these crimes and empowers seniors to stay informed, vigilant, and safe.”

According to a 2025 report from the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center, complaints from victims over the age of 60 exceeded 201,000, with reported losses totalling more than $7.7 billion. The average reported loss for older victims was more than $38,000 in 2025, with at least 12,400 victims claiming losses of at least $100,000.
