Cheshire zoo renames tour after ticket description error | #childpredator | #kidsaftey | #childsaftey

Chester Zoo in Cheshire, United Kingdom, changed the name of a private bus tour after an error in the online ticket description. Children’s tickets for a tour about predatory animals were labelled in English as “child predator tour”, prompting mocking comments from visitors online.

The error was quickly corrected

As the Jerusalem Post reports, a zoo spokesperson explained that the unfortunate wording appeared because of a standard naming principle in the computer system. According to her, the label was changed promptly.

Children’s tickets priced at £25 were displayed as tickets for a “child predator” tour. Adult tickets priced at £30 were likewise labelled as “adult predator” tickets. After visitors drew attention to these labels, the zoo renamed the offer.
