LITTLE ROCK — Arkansas Attorney General Tim Griffin is suing online gaming platform Roblox and messaging service Discord claiming their platforms put children at risk from sexual predators.
The suit asks the court to declare the companies’ business practices a public nuisance under Arkansas law, and order them to stop the practices outlined in the complaint.
The complaint would have the companies forfeit all profits earned through their practices and to provide funding for education on the topic, as well as requesting the payment of damages. It does not name a dollar amount.
The lawsuit was filed under the Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act in the Superior Court of Los Angeles County.
