Customers have been sent a notification entitled ‘ASOS HACKED’, with the message: “Dear Asos DPO and IT, we have fully compromised with the Snowflake instance.
“Engage with us, or we will leak it.”
Many ASOS customers have taken to X to share their confusion over the strange notification. One person said: “Anyone else get the ASOS hacked notification?
“Any ideas?”
Someone else wrote: “Has ASOS been hacked…this push notification is crazy.”
Another user posted: “ASOS got hacked? I got a weird notification.”
Meanwhile, some shoppers questioned whether the notification was in fact a marketing strategy.
Someone posted: “Has asos actually been hacked or is it just an ad for Christmas.
