TYLER, Texas (KLTV) – An investigation by an online group to catch sexual predators has led to the arrest of a Palestine man on Wednesday.

Jordan Lee Burk, 27, is charged with two counts of second-degree online solicitation of a minor.

According to a probable cause affidavit obtained by KLTV through an open records request, Tyler police were dispatched to Heritage Drive in Tyler on Wednesday when a caller, who owns a YouTube channel called “Predator Poacher,” said he spoke with Burk about Burk having sexually explicit conversations with children as young as 11.

Officers contacted the witness on Heritage Drive and the witness said his team has been in contact with Burk since June of 2023. The witness shared online conversations with Burk which showed the witness posing as an 11-year-old girl. The affidavit gives details of sexually inappropriate messages.

The witness said they contacted Burk at his employment on Heritage Drive and the witness showed a video recording in which Burk admitted to frequently viewing child pornography, according to the affidavit.

The affidavit states police questioned Burk and Burk denied saying anything sexual in nature.

Jail records indicate Burk was arrested on Wednesday and posted bond the same day.
