Samadhan Abhiyan, working on child safety and prevention of child sexual abuse, completed its 10-year journey. Its Annual Day 2026 was organised at the Press Club of India, New Delhi.
The organisation shared its decade-long achievements, grassroots work and future priorities.
It noted that while many know the term ‘POCSO’, few understand its provisions, and sensitizing parents, teachers and communities is more crucial than children alone. Founder Archana Agnihotri said lack of information is the biggest barrier to child safety.
DCPCR Chairman Om Prakash Vyas appreciated the efforts and stressed continuous awareness.
Dignitaries including DCW Chairperson Lata Gupta, MLA Shikha Rai, DCPCR Members Swati Gupta, Kundan Kanskar, and Major General Dr Atul Bajpai attended.
