Manchester store workers protect senior citizens from crypto scams, police say
MANCHESTER, N.H. —
Manchester police say the owner and employees of a local shop helped prevent three senior citizens from losing a combined $17,000 to cryptocurrency scams.
Authorities said that on three occasions, seniors entered Varney Street Quick Shop with cash they intended to deposit into a crypto ATM.

Employees recognized signs of a scam, warned the customers and contacted police.
