Cascade County officials took the podium on Monday to talk about a major undercover sting operation that resulted in the arrest of multiple suspects.
While the news is great in terms of putting bad guys away, justice has yet to be served with all suspects in the case deemed innocent until proven guilty in the court of law.

Montana Law Enforcement Cracks Down on Criminals Targeting Children
Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter, along with County Attorney Josh Racki and Great Falls Police Chief Newton. held a press conference to announce the successful result of an undercover sting operation to bring child predators to justice.
“On September 10th and September 11th, Cascade County Sheriff’s Office, Great Falls Police Department, along with the County Attorney’s Office, conducted a two-day undercover operation targeting individuals who are seeking to engage in sexual activities with juveniles for the exchange of money,” Sheriff Slaughter said.

“Individuals who target children for child exploitation victimize not only the children, but they also victimize their families and our entire community. The Cascade County Sheriff’s Office will continue to conduct these proactive operations and will work with law enforcement and prosecutorial partners to protect our children and hold our offenders accountable.”
Sheriff Slaughter Says This Undercover Operation is the Best Yet
Sheriff Slaughter has seen a lot over the course of his career and he said this particular operation was among the best he’s been a part of.
“I am extremely proud of our deputies, our police officers, investigators who work together to make this operation a success,” Sheriff Slaughter said, “I have worked child exploitation cases for over 16 years, and I’ve worked several of these undercover operations and I’ve led several of these undercover operations.”
“I have never in my career seen a more professional and more well-done undercover operation in the entire history that I’ve seen in this county.”
The Job Is Not Finished
Sheriff Slaughter made it known that they will continue to crack down on these disgusting crimes and the suspects behind them.
“If you come to Cascade County and you intend to sexually exploit a child, you will be caught, you will be arrested, and you will be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,” Sheriff Slaughter said.
“The Cascade County Sheriff’s Office is committed to protecting our children, supporting our victim, and working with all law enforcement and prosecutors to keep our community safe.”
