The company from Belgrade was awarded at the Adria Security Summit in Zagreb with an award for the solution of the year in the area of ​​the city’s integrated system security, and the recognition refers to a case study of the application of smart video surveillance in Belgrade.

According to the jury’s explanation, the project was recognized for its complexity, importance for security and contribution to the community, as well as the successful connection of various security and technological components into a single solution.

The Mercury.AI solution, according to the company, includes advanced video analytics systems, including violence and weapon detection, as well as surveillance traffic.

The award was presented in Zagreb to the company’s director, Marko Galić, who pointed out that the award has special significance because it comes from an expert in the security industry.

“Our industry is going through a rapid technological transformation, and competitiveness increasingly depends on the ability of companies to develop and implement innovative solutions. We are pleased that our results have been recognized by relevant experts and professionals from the industry,” said Galić.

He announced that The Mercury.AI will open a security camera factory in Serbia in 2027, with an area of ​​17.000 square meters, with a planned annual production capacity of 7,2 million devices.

“We will organize production and quality control within our own capacities, while software development will remain in the company. In this way, we will have control over the entire process, from hardware production to the development of software solutions,” said Galić.

The Adria Security Summit in Zagreb is one of the leading regional gatherings dedicated to security technologies, which brings together manufacturers, system integrators and experts from the industry.

International companies Honeywell, Milestone Systems, Suprema Europe and Hytera Communications are among the winners of their security awards in previous years.
