After more than a month of undercover operations, Bristol, Tennessee Police Department has arrested six online predator suspects.
In each case, the suspects engaged in sexually explicit conversations with detectives posing as females under 18. In some cases, suspects sent or requested nude photos and made arrangements to meet for sexual activities when thy were arrested, police said.
Detectives arrested and charged:
Darren Coffey – sexual exploitation of a minor via electronic means, solicitation of a minor, patronizing prostitution of a minor.
Justin Miller – sexual exploitation of a minor via electronic means, solicitation of a minor.
James Gross – sexual exploitation of a minor via electronic means, solicitation of a minor.
Gabriel Rose – sexual exploitation of a minor via electronic means, solicitation of a minor.
Robert Isbell – sexual exploitation of a minor via electronic means. Isbell is a registered sex offender and was taken into custody by Bristol, Virginia police where he was further charged as a fugitive from justice.
Jason Baker – sexual exploitation of a minor via electronic means, solicitation of a minor.
“One of our greatest duties as a department is to protect the most vulnerable members of our community,” said Captain Dannielle Eller. “We will continue to use every tool available to us in the fight to keep our children safe from anyone who would seek to exploit or harm them in any way.”
