Women cautioned about cybercrime, threats to privacy | #cybercrime | #infosec

Andhra Pradesh Women Commission Chairperson Rayapati Sailaja has appealed to women and youth to be cautious about cybercrime and online threats.

Addressing the gathering at Government General Hospital in Visakhapatnam, Ms. Sailaja urged the staff of the One Stop Centres (OSCs) to ensure privacy and protection of the identity of victims admitted to the OSCs. The staff of the 16 OSCs in the state attended the awareness meeting on the OSCs’ services. The Andhra Pradesh Women Commission conducted the meeting.

“The OSCs should ensure legal aid, support for documentation of complaints and counselling for the recovery of the victims of various abuses,” Ms. Sailaja said.
